John is Head of the Wills, Probate and Trusts team and the Court of Protection team.
He is the former Senior Partner and has spent his entire professional life with the practice.
John’s day to day activities are now in relation to the Private Client Department, dealing with:
John has 30 years’ experience in Court of Protection work, previously as a Receiver, and since the new legislation was introduced in 2007, as a Deputy. He has been appointed as a Deputy on the Office of the Public Guardian’s Panel of Deputies, one of 65 Deputies nationally. This appointment reflects his experience and expertise.
He heads a thriving and expanding Department dealing with the financial control, health and personal welfare of clients of all ages and backgrounds who, through incapacity, are unable to manage their own affairs.
John is on the Board of Directors at the Vernon Building Society, and is well known throughout the local business community.
