Jane joined the firm’s Court of Protection & Powers of Attorney team in June 2014 as a paralegal, and she works closely alongside David Hilton, John Longworth, Shaun O’Carroll, Sue Darlington, Lynda Williams and Hannah Thomas. The team are involved in all aspects of work involving the office of the public guardian and the court of protection, as well as administering personal injury settlements, trusts, and acting as attorneys on behalf of clients.
Jane deals with all of the above matters, working closely with the team. She is involved in all of the areas regarding the management of client affairs where those clients are unable to manage their own affairs due to old age, accident, or illness. She brings to her job great life skills as well as a technical knowledge and ensures that our clients and patients are well cared for and looked after.
Previously, Jane worked at an estate agents and the skills that she picked up from that career are utilised at Bromleys where she works closely with Paul Westwell running the property letting management service, which entails:-
- Property management
- Property maintenance
- Property inspections
- Collection of rent
