Who am I?

Saqib Kazam is Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Team.  I qualified as a Solicitor in 2020 and have over 9 years’ experience working in the legal sector.

How can I help you?

Dispute Resolution

I work closely with the head of Dispute Resolution, Rachael Frankland, and have experience or interests in the following areas:

• Contentious probate;
• Debt collection;
• Contractual disputes;
• Disputes between landlords and tenants, both residential and commercial;
• Professional negligence claims;
• Neighbour disputes; and
• Advising upon bankruptcy and insolvency and disputes arising from these.

 

Employment

I have a keen interest in Employment Law and my work is supervised by the head of Dispute Resolution, Rachael Frankland, and to date has been involved in the following areas:

• Unfair dismissal;
• Discrimination;
• Wrongful dismissal;
• Drafting and advising upon Settlement Agreements for both employers and employees;
• Drafting and advising upon contracts of employment and staff handbooks.
• Advising upon HR matters; and
• Enforcement of restrictive covenants.

 

A bit more about me

One of my main outside interests is fitness and staying active. I enjoy going to the gym, cycling, hikes and playing sports, in particular, football and cricket. I find that regular exercise helps me unwind and relax as well as boosting my creativity and analytical thinking skills.
