Sue is a Senior Associate Solicitor working in our Wills, Probate & Planning for the Future team.
Qualifying as a solicitor in 1997, Sue began her career at Bullock, Worthington & Jackson Solicitors where she remained for 6 years before joining a city centre law firm as an Associate Solicitor practising for 13 years.
Sue specialises in issues which typically (but not always) affect the elderly and brings her extensive experience of estate planning and estate administration, as well as her specialist knowledge of charity administration.
Sue Darlington is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which is a global professional body comprising lawyers, accountants, financial advisers, trustees and other practitioners who help families plan for their futures. In gaining full membership status, Sue gains the distinction of being one of only two STEP members to be based in Tameside.
Sue also has experience in Court of Protection matters which is an area of law which can make a real and meaningful difference to the quality of life of those who come under the Court’s jurisdiction.
