Bromleys Donates £2,000 to Support Young People Leaving Care

We’re proud to announce that Bromleys Solicitors has donated £2,000 to our 2024/25 Charity of the Year, Pure Insight. A local organisation dedicated to supporting young people as they leave children’s homes and foster care.

This donation marks the culmination of a year of fundraising by our team, who organised a series of themed events including an Easter Picnic Party, a Halloween lunch hosted by our Court of Protection team, and an office tombola packed with food and prizes.

A Cause Close to Our Hearts

Pure Insight was chosen as our first-ever Charity of the Year because of the vital work they do with care-experienced young people, a cause that resonates deeply with our Care Proceedings Team.

“We chose Pure Insight because their mission aligns so closely with our values,” said  Felicity Drinkwater, Managing Associate and Solicitor in our Childcare Department.  “They provide practical tools, guidance, and emotional support to help care leavers live and thrive independently. It’s a privilege to support their work.”

Making a Positive Difference

Clare Taylor Smith, Business Development Lead at Pure Insight, shared her appreciation:

“We’re hugely thankful to Bromleys for selecting us as their Charity of the Year and for the incredible effort their staff put into fundraising. This generous donation will directly support care leavers as they navigate the challenges of adulthood.”

As the first business to partner with Pure Insight in this way, we hope to inspire others to get involved and raise awareness of the unique challenges faced by young people leaving care.

Looking Ahead

We’re excited to continue working with Pure Insight throughout the year and to help amplify their impact in our community.
