Rachael Frankland

I am a Senior Associate and Head of the Dispute Resolution Team, splitting my time between the Employment and Dispute Resolution departments.

I undertook my training with Bromleys and qualified in 2014, gaining experience across all departments. Upon qualification, I discovered that I enjoy more contentious work, so I now provide valuable support to these areas.

Dispute Resolution

I have experience in:

• Will disputes and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
• Debt collection
• Contractual disputes
• Disputes between landlords and tenants (residential and commercial)
• Professional negligence claims
• Neighbour disputes
• Advising on bankruptcy, insolvency and related disputes

Employment

I have a keen interest and deep knowledge of the ever-changing area of Employment Law, including:

• TUPE
• Unfair dismissal
• Discrimination
• Wrongful dismissal
• Drafting and advising on Settlement Agreements for employers and employees
• Drafting and advising on contracts of employment and staff handbooks
• Advising on HR matters
• Enforcement of restrictive covenants

General

In 2016, I became a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

I also work closely with the Corporate & Commercial Services team. My work is subject to overall supervision by the firm’s Managing Partner, Paul Westwell.
