Our third and final Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) event of 2025 took place on Friday, 14th October and what a fantastic way to close the year! Building on the success of our June session, we were delighted to return to The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton under Lyne for an afternoon of inspiration, networking, and collaboration.
For the first time, the event was hosted by Sian Wilson, Head Receptionist at Bromley’s. Sian did a fantastic job bringing together local businesswomen, creating a welcoming environment to connect, share ideas, and build stronger relationships. Her ongoing support throughout 2025 has been invaluable, helping to establish TWIBs as a trusted space for professional growth and community engagement.
Our guest speaker was Clare Braithwaite, Business Advisor at EnterprisingYou, who delivered an energising and practical session titled “30 Minute Marketing Plan”.
Clare guided attendees through the essentials of building a focused marketing strategy in just half an hour, covering everything from setting clear objectives to identifying target markets and exploring the marketing mix. Packed with practical advice, her session gave everyone the tools to tackle marketing challenges and leave with a plan they could put into action straight away.
As always, our guests enjoyed a delicious complimentary lunch prepared and served by the catering and hospitality students at The Restaurant @ Tameside One. Their creativity and professionalism never fail to impress, and our complementary meal remains a highlight of every TWIBs gathering.
A huge thank you to Clare for sharing her expertise, to Sian for hosting, and to all attendees for making this final TWIBs of the year such a success. TWIBs continues to provide a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing, helping local businesswomen thrive in a supportive environment.
