A lot of positive things are happening across Tameside and everyone at Bromleys is delighted to see so much progress being made.

Millions of pounds are being invested in the area and it is hugely exciting to see this now bearing fruit, for the benefit of residents, businesses and communities alike.

The second phase of the ambitious Vision Tameside project is taking shape and is due to be completed next summer. It will create a shared public service centre housing Tameside Council and other public service organisations, an Advanced Skills College where Tameside College’s vocational courses will be taught, a library, Wilko store and a landscaped public realm, along with a hair salon, bakery, bistro and café.

Recently, Tameside College opened a £14m Advanced Technologies Centre in Ashton to offer a modern learning environment that will help to inspire the next generation of engineering talent.

The iconic former Ashton Old Baths has a new lease of life as a business hub, with 6,000sq ft of offices. So far, space has been let to technology, media, design and events companies and it is great to see the spirit of enterprise thriving in Ashton in this way.

At Bromleys, we are delighted to be playing our part in Tameside’s evolution. Our corporate and commercial services department is seeing unprecedented growth in the number of new instructions, reflecting the strength of our offer and the flourishing local economy. We have recruited a number of highly-qualified experts to help us meet increased demand for our services.

As a firm, we are also committed to giving back to the community and in August we became the home shirt sponsor of Curzon Ashton FC for this season and we wish the club every success

Our marketing associate Carol Parker is taking an active role in the Ashton Town Team, which promotes the town as a place in which to live, work and shop, and Bromleys is continuing to support a number of local charities, including The Anthony Seddon Fund as our charity of the year for 2017.

On 2nd November, we received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Pride of Tameside Awards which demonstrates our commitment to the wider community through various initiatives and investments.

Bromleys has a proud record of providing high-quality legal advice to businesses and private clients across Tameside. As we head into 2018, we look forward to continuing our involvement as the borough’s progression gathers pace.
