Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) returns next Wednesday, 23rd April for our first event of 2025! Following an incredibly successful and inspiring year in 2024, we are excited to kick off 2025 with another informative and empowering event.
This year’s first event will take place at The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton-under-Lyne from 2pm to 4pm.
Hosting next Wednesday’s event will be Louise Nolan, Practice Manager & Associate at Bromleys. Louise has helped develop the success of TWIBs throughout 2024, we cannot thank her enough for making each event the perfect platform for connection and learning.
Our guest speaker for the event is Kris Roberts, Head of Digital Marketing and Innovation at The MAPD Group. Kris is responsible for building and delivering effective digital marketing strategies for the Group’s nine law firms. Kris helps develop the MAPD Group’s innovation efforts, including the adoption and governance of AI and identifying opportunities for AI transformation.
Kris will be delivering a session titled “How to Build a Personal Brand on LinkedIn.” In this session, Kris will explain the importance of establishing a strong online presence for your business and offer practical advice to help everyone enhance their LinkedIn profiles. Additionally, Kris will provide tips on connecting with peers, creating and engaging with content, and tracking LinkedIn activity to develop an effective networking strategy.
Our guests will be treated to an exceptional lunch, prepared and served by the outstanding catering and hospitality students at The Restaurant at Tameside One. This dining experience is always a highlight of our TWIBs events, offering delicious meals and showcasing the talents of local students.
