Our latest Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) event took place on Wednesday 22 April 2026, and it was another fantastic afternoon of learning, networking and meaningful conversation.
We were delighted to welcome our TWIBs community back to The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton‑under‑Lyne, where local businesswomen came together to connect, share ideas and support one another in a warm and welcoming environment. As always, the room was filled with positivity, openness and a genuine sense of collaboration.
This April, we were pleased to welcome Katie Cope, Founder of Keppel Leopard Creative, as our guest speaker. Katie delivered a thought‑provoking and engaging session that truly resonated with attendees. Her talk was described as “very influential, positive and engaging” and “really interesting, definitely something to think about”, sparking reflection and discussion long after the session ended.
Katie shared valuable insight drawn from her experience as a creative founder, encouraging attendees to think differently, challenge their perspectives and reflect on how creativity, confidence and clarity play a vital role in business growth. Her approachable style and practical examples ensured the session felt both inspiring and accessible, giving everyone plenty to take away and apply in their own professional journeys.
As always, our guests also enjoyed a complimentary lunch, expertly prepared and served by the talented catering and hospitality students at The Restaurant @ Tameside One. Their professionalism, creativity and attention to detail continue to be a highlight of every TWIBs event, and we are incredibly grateful for the role they play in making each session so special.
A huge thank you to Katie for sharing her time, insight and expertise, and to everyone who joined us for making the April TWIBs event such a success. TWIBs continues to provide a supportive platform where local businesswomen can build connections, gain insight and feel inspired by one another.
If you missed this session, there’s good news! TWIBs returns on 30th June 2026, and tickets are available now.
Keep an eye on Bromleys website and social media channels for upcoming announcements and future TWIBs events. As always, these gatherings are completely free to attend, with no hidden fees or registration costs.
We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new attendees at our next TWIBs event this summer.
