TWIBs June 2025: Recap

Our second Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) gathering of 2025 was held last Friday, 13th June! Building on the momentum from our successful April session, we were delighted to return to The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton-under-Lyne for another inspiring and empowering event.

Hosted by Louise Nolan, Practice Manager & Associate at Bromleys, the event was a huge success. We cannot thank her enough for continuing to host throughout 2025 and making each TWIBs the perfect platform for supporting our local Tameside business community.

Our guest speaker for this event was Marie Hare, Community Initiatives Officer at Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.

Marie delivered an insightful session titled “Happy and Healthy at Work?” During the session, Marie shared practical tips and insights on how to boost well-being in the workplace. Focusing on how the smallest change can have some of the biggest impact on maintaining a happier, healthier professional life.

Our guests enjoyed a superb lunch, prepared and served by the catering and hospitality students at The Restaurant @ Tameside One. The food is always a highlight of our TWIBs events, providing attendees with an excellent complimentary meal and demonstrating the skills of local culinary students.

A massive thank you to Marie for sharing her knowledge and to all our attendees for contributing to the success of this event. We’d also like to extend our thanks to The Restaurant @ Tameside One for hosting us. TWIBs serves as a platform for networking, where local Tameside businesswomen can share ideas and their expertise.

If you missed this event, stay tuned for future TWIBs content and announcements on the Bromleys social media channels! These events are provided free of charge, with no hidden fees or registration costs.
