Our first Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) event of 2025 took place last Wednesday, 23rd April! Following the success of last year, we were thrilled to kick off 2025 with another informative and empowering event.
The event was held at The Restaurant @ Tameside One in Ashton-under-Lyne, hosted by Louise Nolan, Practice Manager & Associate at Bromleys. Louise has been instrumental in developing the success of TWIBs throughout 2024. We cannot thank her enough for returning in 2025 and making each TWIBs the perfect platform for networking and educational growth.
Our guest speaker for this event was Kris Roberts, Head of Digital Marketing and Innovation at The MAPD Group.
Kris delivered an engaging session titled “How to Build a Personal Brand on LinkedIn”. During the session, Kris explained the importance of establishing a strong online presence for your business and offered practical advice to help everyone enhance their LinkedIn profiles.
Our guests were treated to an exceptional lunch, prepared and served by the catering and hospitality students at The Restaurant @ Tameside One. This is always a highlight of our TWIBs events, offering a delicious free meal to all attendees whilst showcasing the talents of local students.
A huge thank you to Kris for sharing his expertise and to all our attendees for making this event a success. TWIBs remains a wonderful platform for networking, allowing local Tameside businesswomen to share ideas and their expertise.
Thank you to all involved for making this event a huge success and we would also like to extend our gratitude to The Restaurant @ Tameside One for hosting us.
Missed out this time around? Keep your eyes peeled for future TWIBs content and announcements on the Bromleys social media channels! We are proud to offer these events completely free of charge, with no hidden fees or registration costs.
