12 Days of Bromleys: A Look Back at 2025

2022 Christmas

As the year draws to a close and the festive season begins, we’re reflecting on a year of growth, community engagement, and delivering trusted legal advice.

At Bromleys, 2025 has been filled with achievements that matter, for our clients, our team, and the communities we serve. We’re proud to share twelve moments that defined our commitment to clients and community.

On the first day of Christmas, we celebrated excellence…

Our Family Law team earned renewed recognition in the Legal 500 for expertise in public and private children law.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our solicitors and the trust our clients place in us during life’s most challenging moments.

Legal 500 rankings aren’t just about prestige; they reassure our clients that they’re in safe hands. Whether navigating divorce, child arrangements, or care proceedings, our team combines compassion with clarity.

On the second day of Christmas, we inspired collaboration…

We closed the year with our third Tameside Women in Business (TWIBs) event, featuring an inspiring “30 Minute Marketing Plan” session by Clare Braithwaite and hosted by Sian Wilson from Bromleys.

TWIBs events provide networking opportunities and empower local businesses with practical tools to foster a supportive community. At Bromleys, we believe collaboration drives success, and TWIBs embodies that spirit.

On the third day of Christmas, we ran for a cause…

Chris Eaton and Oscar Southan laced up for a 5K Relay Race through Media City, raising funds for our charity of the year, The Christie.

Supporting The Christie means contributing to world-class cancer care and research. Every step taken was a stride toward hope and we’re proud to champion causes that make a real difference.

On the fourth day of Christmas, we celebrated growth…

This year, we welcomed a new cohort of trainees and a graduate solicitor apprentice, who each bring enthusiasm, dedication, and fresh perspectives to our firm.

Chris Eaton, Lauren Healey, Gabby Noyek, and Zeba Yahya all began their journey at Bromleys as paralegals and our Graduate Solicitor Apprentice, Lucy Booth, is making significant strides towards qualification.

Our training programme offers hands-on experience across departments, shaping the next generation of solicitors who share our values of integrity and excellence.

On the fifth day of Christmas, we strengthened community ties…

We proudly renewed our partnership with Curzon Ashton FC for another two seasons, continuing our shared commitment to the Tameside community.

Our support goes beyond the pitch. Partnerships like these create opportunities for young talent and build community relationships that last. At Bromleys, we believe in investing in initiatives that bring people together and make a positive impact where it matters most.

On the sixth day of Christmas, we supported local initiatives…

Becoming part of Stalybridge Celtic’s sponsorship family was a proud milestone for us this year. Supporting local football is about creating experiences that bring people together and strengthen local identity.

This sponsorship is an opportunity to create unforgettable moments for local schools, youth groups, and community organisations. By helping children take part in the matchday atmosphere we’re helping to foster a stronger connection between the club and the community.

On the seventh day of Christmas, we gave back to care leavers…

We were proud to donate £2,000 to Pure Insight, a local organisation dedicated to supporting young people leaving care as they transition to independent living.

Pure Insight’s vital work provides practical tools, emotional support, and guidance to help care leavers build confidence and independence. By supporting initiatives like this, we help create brighter futures for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

On the eighth day of Christmas, we focused on sustainability…

In 2025, green leases moved from being a niche concept to a practical necessity and we’ve been helping clients understand why.

These agreements go beyond standard terms by embedding sustainability into the heart of commercial property, encouraging landlords and tenants to collaborate on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and water conservation.

At Bromleys, our Commercial Property team works with businesses to draft and negotiate green lease clauses that align with ESG goals and regulatory frameworks, ensuring your assets remain resilient in a changing market.

On the ninth day of Christmas, we championed local businesses…

We sponsored the Ashton Independent Retail Awards, a celebration of the incredible businesses that make our town centre thrive. As part of the event, we presented our Sponsors Award to The Hidden Kitchen, a well-loved local favourite chosen by our team for its outstanding service and community spirit.

Independent retailers are the heartbeat of Ashton and Tameside, and supporting them is central to our commitment to strengthening the local economy. By championing businesses like The Hidden Kitchen, we help ensure our high streets remain vibrant, welcoming, and full of character.

On the tenth day of Christmas, we delivered care and compassion…

Our Care Team took practical action to support individuals affected by domestic abuse by assembling and delivering hampers to Fortalice, a Bolton-based charity providing refuge and vital services for those in crisis.

These hampers, filled with essential cleaning items, help make the transition to independent living a little easier for those starting over.

Initiatives like this reflect our commitment to community support and social responsibility, because small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, we shared vital property advice…

With major reforms under the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 now in effect, we’ve been helping homeowners understand why buying their freehold is more important than ever.

Full ownership brings security, eliminates ground rent, and can significantly increase property value, especially with recent changes making the process simpler and more affordable.

Our Property team is here to guide you through every step, ensuring you know your rights and options. Because when it comes to property decisions, clarity and confidence lead to the best outcomes.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, we embraced innovation…

We were delighted to play a key role in the Tameside Tech & Digital Network event at Curzon Ashton FC, sponsoring and joining a morning of innovation and collaboration.

From AI breakthroughs to digital entrepreneurship, it was inspiring to connect with local businesses and thought leaders driving technological progress in our region. Engaging with emerging technologies and supporting initiatives like this, we ensure our services remain agile, relevant, and tailored to the evolving needs of our clients.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we wrap up 2025, we thank our clients, colleagues, and communities for your trust and support. This year has been about delivering expert advice and making a positive difference, and we look forward to continuing that work in 2026.

From all of us at Bromleys, we wish you a safe, happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
