Olivia Bell

I am a Partner and Head of our Care Proceedings & Children Services Team. I trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2003.

My practice is principally in the area of child care and share I deal with both private and public law children work representing children, parents and other family members where there are disputes within families or involvement with Children Services.

I am also a member of the Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme and is also a trained mediator. I offer a specialist service, not regularly available elsewhere, acting independently to achieve an agreement between the parties involved in contested issues surrounding a divorce or separation, with a view to minimise any lasting friction.

I receive numerous instructions from guardians to represent the interests of children in court proceedings and I am highly regarded for my straightforward and common sense approach.

I am also responsible for our Legal Aid franchise, and for our accreditations by Lexcel.
